Good afternoon. I'm looking for professionals who are either managers or working with human resources and deal with AI programs that assist with hiring and/or firing decisions, to share insights for an article examining how AI is starting to guide these processes at different companies. My main questions are: 1.) One recent survey revealed 87% of respondents use some type of AI in their recruitment process, while 24% use AI to onboard new talent. Have you used AI to vet or hire new people at your company? If so, what are the advantages and disadvantages? 2.) The trend of using AI to determine which employees deserve a raise and/or promotion, be laid off, or even fired is on the rise, according to a recent survey of over 1,300 U.S. department managers. What are your thoughts on this? Have you used AI tools to make similar decisions? If so, please explain. 3.) From your perspective, what are the ethical implications of using AI to make important decisions like hiring, promotion, and firing? 4.) Does your company have plans to implement or expand the use of these kinds of AI tools in the capacity mentioned above? If so, please explain.
Thank you for your time and consideration on this critical emerging topic.
