Seeking stock market experts for a story on OpenAI impact on stocks
Looking for thought leadership, or just insightful commentary on a two-CEO structure at companies.
Co-CEOs are back in the news with Spotify, Comcast, and Oracle recently announcing co-CEOs rather than the traditional structure.
This may or may not be a trend, but I'm going to write about these types of leadership structures, and explore the pros and cons, common pitfalls, and the opportunities they present, and what it takes to do this successfully.
We're looking at the economicand (especially) the financial markets impacted by the government shutdown. Audience is mass consumer and higher-driven investors.
We need these queries answered for the story:
Story Title: Winners and losers: These sectors feel the brunt of a U.S. government shutdown
1. What's your take, historically, on government shutdowns and economic and market impact? What should investors expect, if anything? What's the history of shutdowns and market trends?
2. Which market sectors are more impacted? We're thinking defense contractors (delayed payments), travel (air traffic control, TSA staffing), and government contractors. But we need expert takes, not mine.
3. What about sectors that might do well with a prolonged shutdown? We're thinking safe-haven plays (gold, utilities, Treasurys), which should do well, we think? What's your take and why?
4. What's your advice for Main Street investors. Sit tight or play the shutdown game?
