I'm looking for fun, functional, stylish and non-toxic gear that makes packing and eating school lunches easier, healthier, or just more exciting. Bonus points for new products on the market (launched within the year) or one-of-a-kind products.
This could include the following: bento boxes, eco-friendly or non-plastic containers, LEAKproof kid-centric water bottles, clever sandwich cutters, insulated thermoses, zany toothpicks, reusable snack bags, or even high-tech lunchbox warmers. Open to apps as well? Is there a lunch generator app idea out there? (Wishful thinking! ha.)
As a parent with a six-year-old who eats little of her packed lunch, I’m especially interested in things that solve real lunch-packing problems—like keeping food fresh, appealing to choosy eaters, or saving time in the morning. Budget-friendly options (or even hacks like instead of buying an expensive X, try Y instead) and products from small or sustainable brands are a plus.
Basically, if it makes lunch less of a daily headache and more of a win for both caregiver and kid, I want to hear about it.
Requests: Brief description of product, what makes it unique or what problem does it solve. Please include a link to the product on brand website and a high res, horizontal image of product. Lifestyle shots preferred.
What I am not looking for: Recipes, food items or food subscriptions.

Seeking advice on how to respond to allegations of harmful products
I’d like to hear from crisis management experts with the advice they’d share for companies and organizations that come under attack for unproven allegations that their products are unhealthy or harmful.
Note: I will not consider comments that are sent on behalf of others. There are no exceptions—and do not call.
Please respond ASAP before the deadline, and include a description of your crisis management expertise.
