I am seeking statistics and stories (qualitative and quantitative data) about how AI has impacted the way people find information they can trust online.
In particular, I'd like to explore three themes:
1) How AI has changed search technologies and the way people connect with brands via search
2) How AI may impact or contribute to the distribution of misinformation through search engines
3) How AI may be infringing on publisher copyright with the way it distributes information in search
I am interested in receiving responses from:
- Search scientists who have robust data about AI's impact in search
- Publishers who have experienced the impact of AI in search. I specifically need examples you can validate with analytics and traffic data, not anecdotal examples.
- Cybersecurity experts who follow how misinformation and fake news get distributed through search and AI
- Anyone in a related industry who can provide stories or quotes about the tangible impact AI is having
